Introduction
Certified Aerodromes must have an Aerodrome Operator approved by the Authority. The applicant organisation seeking to be an approved Aerodrome Operator has to submit a Compliance Statement IAW Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) 139.30. The appointment of the Aerodrome Operator is in place to ensure that the personnel fully understand the roles and responsibilities required for operating and maintaining the aerodrome(s) and an organisation, systems and processes are in place to achieve the required roles and responsibilities. The Aerodrome Operator has overall accountability for all operational procedures.
