The ADF Propulsion Systems Symposium (APSS) is the only dedicated forum for military propulsion systems in Australasia. It provides an excellent opportunity for organisations and personnel in the ADF propulsion systems community to network and share their knowledge and experience. The APSS is open to all personnel involved in the acquisition and in-service management of ADF fixed and rotary-wing propulsion systems. Attendance extends to representatives from foreign militaries, science and technology organisations, universities, industry, and aviation authorities.
The event is co-hosted by the Propulsion Systems Integrity (PSI) section of the Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) and the Aerospace Propulsion Centre of Expertise (APCoE) within Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG).
APSS returns on 19-21 May 2026 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Melbourne. The theme for the 2026 APSS is “Propulsion Systems Integrity: Contributing to Deterrence” and promises a captivating exploration of how PSI contributes to military power in our current complex and challenging strategic environment.
Registrations are now open using the form below and will close 17 April 2026.
