1.1 Safe flight of Defence aircraft may be affected by mission/role equipment, support systems and ground based equipment that interface directly with or are carried on board the aircraft and, therefore, the Authority prescribes airworthiness design requirements for these systems and equipment.
1.2 Section 5 of the DASDRM presents the prescribed airworthiness design requirements for the following aircraft support systems and ground based, role and/or mission equipment:
aeronautical life support equipment
role equipment and portable electronic devices
petroleum, oils, lubricants and allied products.
